![]() | You are a citizen of a great and powerful nation. Are you not ashamed that you give so much time to the pursuit of money, and reputation and honors and care so little about truth and wisdom and the improvement of your soul? - Socrates |

| About Me | My friends call me Will. I am 34 years old. I am an information technoledgy major at UCF. On this page, I talk about my interests, which are not necessarily related to my major. | |

| Literature | I like reading literature that has proven to be worth while. These works are often refered to as the classics. They are books that will implicitly teach you about life and the human condition. A perfect example of this literature is The Sorros of Young Werther by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, a 19th century German author and poet. I get free e-text at gutenberg.org and free audiobooks at librovox.org. | |
| Mathematics | I am not a genius at math, but it is an awsome way to challeng yourself in terms of analytical thinking. It's also a mysterious subject, it seems to have been discovered rather than invented. Take the binomial theorem: it's so beautiful in terms of its logic and symmetry. It's looks like this (a+b)n = an + nan-1b + n(n-1)/2! an-2b2 + n(n-1)(n-2)/3! an-3b3 + ... + nabn-1 + bn. [This hell to write in code!] I find answeres to math questions at The Math Forum at Drexal University. | |
| Programming | Object oriented programming is pretty philosophical. The object hierarchy can be found in nature and languages. It's like working your way up biological cells until you get the stem cell that can become any cell. The top of the heirarchy seems to be the essence of all lower objects, or cells, etc. It's very engaging. | |
| Languages | English and Spanish are my fluent languages, but I am adding Portugese and Arabic to my list, before I die. Everyone should try to learn at least one foreing language. Try to learn as many as you can and visit the country of origin: thats an awsome dream. | |
| Art | Writing, drawing, painting, reading poetry (Poetry that is hard to read is usually the best poetry). I like art that challenges me. | |
| Learning | My One dream is to always be able to learn and to always love learning. | |
